Peninsula Total Tackle opened in September 2009. Dan Lee is the founder and manager of the business.
Dan has spent much of his fishing life on the Peninsula yet was always puzzled as to why there was not a supplier of quality gear in such a fantastic fishing area (without driving to far off and distant places, like Cranbourne and Frankston). As one of the best fishing destinations locally available to Melbournites – it seemed a no-brainer, that a modern, fully stocked tackle store was needed for those interested in all derivations of the sport.
Dan wanted to ensure that Peninsula Total Tackle was clean and modern and stocked all the best brands. His imperative, above all, was to employ staff who loved their fishing and would happily share their knowledge and passion with customers. And the rest, as they say, is history!
